Delete your Campus Ride account

Delete from inside the app
- Open Campus Ride and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Delete Account.
- Type the confirmation and tap Delete. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Before you can delete
- Your wallet balance must be ₹0. Deletion is blocked while credits remain, because credits are destroyed with the account and cannot be refunded afterwards. Spend the balance or contact support first.
- Driver, operator and admin accounts cannot self-delete. Contact ops from Help & Support to be off-boarded, then delete the account.
- Seats you hold on future trips are released automatically during deletion.
Request deletion without the app
Write to us from the address or with the mobile number on your account and ask for account deletion. We verify ownership and delete within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name, email, mobile number and profile photo.
- Bookings, boarding passes, favourite stops and preferences.
- Monthly pass records and any remaining travel days (no refund for unused days).
- Location history and any live-share links you created.
- Push notification tokens. Support conversations are permanently anonymised — the message text and attachments are erased, and only a record that a ticket existed is kept for our own accounting.
What we keep, and for how long
Payment and invoice records are retained in de-identified form for up to 8 years because Indian tax and accounting law requires it. These records cannot be linked back to you through the app after deletion.
